I am trying to figure out which way to go. I have heard of people having an ATV/4 wheeler and getting a pull behind mower and tiller(self powered), also a snow plow. Are there ATV's with PTO's?? What size engine would you need to have. I have 3.5 hilly acres to take care of. Also considering a NorTrak tractor or a used kubota. I have been able to check out riding mowers but do not know about ATV's or small tractors. Any info would be appreciated.

Yes you can if you have the time and money.Step one is removing the mower deck, then if the transmission is a standard you just have to supe it up a bit, if it's a hydraulic/automatic you just have to take off the axle and change the gears aswell as the hydraulic pump/drive system

can a lawn tractor like an everyday riding mower use features like a ATV snowplow???

Possible clearance problems going from ATV blade to a tractor. I did the opposite a few years ago, by fabricating brackets to mount my old lawn tractor blade to my ATV. Works great. RScott

I have an 85 Honda Big Red 250 with a shot battery. The ATV repair shop said that if I put a lawn mower battery on it, it will eventually mess up my starter and/or alternator. Is there any truth to that?...or is he just trying to sell me one of his? The 3-wheeler is like 22 years old, and I don't wanna put that kind of money into it.

Check and see if the batteries are of the same voltage output.
